Katie has worked in the event industry since 2006. She has held event planning positions at the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa and Southern California Edison. She opened her first event planning company, K.N. Event Co. in 2013, which she re-branded to Plaid & Paisley Weddings, LLC in 2014. Katie believes the perfect wedding incorporates personalized details, recognition of friends & family, and staying within budget!!!
Krystyna is a natural when it comes to wedding coordination and design. She is one of the hardest workers you will ever meet and strives off of the creative aspects of a wedding. Brides comment that she goes above and beyond their highest expectations to give them the wedding of their dreams. Krystyna began her career in event planning in 2001 with her sorority at San Diego State. She then went on to volunteer her time in her community at the La Jolla YMCA and still remains active with the alumnae organization of her sorority. Krystyna has been planning weddings with Plaid & Paisley since March 2013.
Laura is a born leader and super punctual. She began working with Plaid & Paisley in March 2013 and brides quickly took a liking to her. Laura has a knack for keeping the vendors moving and staying on schedule: brides have commented how smooth everything went having Laura as their coordinator. She can throw together beautiful dessert tables with the most basic of materials and can whip together centerpieces like you wouldn’t believe. Laura’s attention to detail is amazing and her perfect handwriting is a brides dream when it comes to chalkboard signs!
